Reverse Mortgages Save Three Homes from Tax Auction

Three homeowners whose houses were already auctioned off for back taxes were recently rescued when they were able to obtain a reverse mortgage.  Proceeds of the reverse mortgage in each case paid off the back taxes and the original owners were able to retain their homes.  Click here for more.  Tell me again why so many people are afraid of reverse mortgages . . . really?
